Empowering Children, Schools and Child Focused Communities

Nurturing resilience in children, and the adults, families, and organisations that support them, through compassionate, Trauma Informed strategies, including Animal Assisted Intervention. At the All Is Well Approach, we don’t just bring a dog into schools; we bring Trauma Informed understanding, evidence based strategies, and safe, supportive spaces for children, with Lola the Therapy Dog as part of a whole child approach to emotional wellbeing.

Bringing calm, connection and confidence to children and communities this term.

Therapy Dog Lola and I are already supporting schools across Warrington, Widnes and Liverpool — get in touch to see how we can work with you.

Our Approach

At the All is Well Approach, we believe that when children feel emotionally safe, their ability to learn, grow, and connect flourishes. Emotional safety isn’t a luxury — it’s the foundation of education, wellbeing, and lifelong resilience.

I’m Catherine Whitlow, a Qualified Teacher and Animal Assisted Intervention Therapist, working alongside Lola, my gentle, intuitive Therapy Dog and two-time award finalist. Together, we offer Trauma Informed training, interactive Therapy Dog sessions, and wellbeing workshops tailored to the real world needs of pupils, staff, and settings. Whether you’re in Warrington, Widnes, Liverpool, or nearby, we’re here to support emotional wellbeing.

Grounded in relational neuroscience, the Polyvagal Theory, and the everyday power of co-regulation, our work supports both children and the adults around them. Whether delivering staff training, child-led sessions, or whole school wellbeing strategies, we lead with compassion, curiosity, and evidence based practice because healing and learning go hand in hand.

Creating Safe, Supportive Spaces for Children and the Adults Who Walk Alongside Them

Emotional wellbeing doesn’t exist in isolation — it lives in relationships, routines, and the adults who walk beside our children every day.

That’s why we partner with schools and community-based organisations, including charities, early help services, and volunteer-led initiatives, to offer Trauma Informed, inclusive support that meets children’s emotional and relational needs.

Alongside direct work with children, we equip the adults around them with practical, compassionate tools rooted in relational safety, co-regulation, and the science of connection. Whether it’s a teacher in the classroom, a family support worker on a home visit, or a volunteer offering a listening ear, we help build confidence and capacity for meaningful, everyday moments that promote healing, resilience, and belonging.

At its heart, our work is about partnering with people to nurture environments where every child and every adult feels seen, valued, and supported.
